Bogatinova has been dismissed by the Steering Committee of CMEM due to passiveness in the work of the Commission and non-participation in its sessions. That is contrary to Article 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Press Complaints Commission of CMEM, under which the member may be dismissed from duty if unjustifiably fails to attend three sessions.
The procedure for electing a new member of the Press Complaints Commission of the Council for Media Ethics is ongoing.
