This network will serve as a platform for regional cooperation and exchange of experiences aimed at improving the quality and professionalism in the media and ethical journalism in the region.
The task of this regional association would be to increase the awareness of the network members, media, media professionals and the society in general on the basic principles for self-regulation and professionalism, as well as handling of cross-border complaints of the countries in the region.
The representatives of the self-regulators made a decision to base the headquarters of the network in Montenegro and Ranko Vujovic, Executive Secretary of the Media Council for Self-Regulation of Montenegro was elected as President.
