The representatives of the Council of Media Ethics in Macedonia (CMEM), Mirce Adamcevski, Filip Gjurcinovski, Teofil Blazevski, Marina Gjorgievska and Semi Mehmeti presented the current work of the Council, as well as the Code of Journalists and the relationship between citizens and the media, with a particular focus at the process of mediation.
The objective of the conference was to promote regional cooperation and exchange of experiences in the area of media ethics, as well as coordination on the official registration of the regional network of self-regulation bodies.
The conference was attended by representatives of the self-regulation bodies of Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo and Montenegro, as well as representatives from Albania who are in a process of establishing a body of this kind.
