Leunora Kaliqi

Journalist with 20 years of public engagement, author of the show “EU and Us” on MTV and anchor of the main news program. Throughout her professional career, in addition to working with non-governmental organizations, she has also collaborated with international organizations. She has participated in projects and activities aimed at reforms, development, and resolving issues in the public interest, especially activities related to human rights and freedoms, equality and the fight against discrimination, freedom of speech, rule of law, environmental protection, women’s empowerment, combating violence, and promoting democratic standards.
Leunora is the founder and manager of the Association for the Well-being of Women and Children AJO – Skopje, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Communication.

Irena Mulachka

Irena Mulachka

Irena Mulachka is a journalist and editor at the weekly magazine Fokus. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, focusing on criminal law.
She is the recipient of five investigative journalism awards, granted by the Association of Journalists of Macedonia, the Council of Media Ethics, and the European Union. She has often been engaged in trainings and practice for maintaining communication with governmental and civil society entities.

Aneta Andonova

Andonova, Aneta (Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia) graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
She holds a master’s degree from the “Justinian I” Faculty of Law – Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, specializing in Media and Communications.
She began her media career at the experimental youth radio “Club 100” within the Orce Nikolov Secondary School in Skopje. In 1990, she started her television career with the interactive school program “Pulsiranja” in the Educational Program of Macedonian Radio Television. Throughout her career, she has been the author of many educational shows and reports. She has participated in numerous live broadcasts, including the live coverage of the visit of His Holiness the Head of the Roman Catholic Church – Pope Francis to the Republic of North Macedonia.
In her career, she has also collaborated with several print media outlets, including the magazines “Nash Svet,” “Razvigor,” “Elfasko,” and others. She has attended numerous trainings and gained practical experience in journalism: Rai, HRT, Circom Regional, École de journalisme Montpellier, Study Visit to Dublin on Media Literacy, DW Academy, Study Visit in the integrated newsroom of the Finnish Public Broadcaster – YLE, Regional Workshop on Developing Codes of Conduct/Editorial Guidelines for Public Service Media in the Western Balkans, ContentLA, Los Angeles. She has participated in many domestic and international conferences.
Her career has included various positions: Editor of the School Editorial Office at MRT, Editor of the Educational Program on MRT1, and Editor-in-Chief of MRT.
She has received numerous awards and recognitions for her work.

Беше активен во Здружението на новинари, а член е и на Управниот одбор на саморегулаторното тело за медиуми Совет за етика. Семи Мемети е син на познатиот новинар и публицист Ким Мехмети.

Sashka Cvetkovska

Sashka Cvetkovska

Sashka Cvetkovska investigates domestic and international organized crime and corruption and is one of the pioneers in researching media ownership and propaganda in the country as a co-founder of the first media ownership database Mediapedia.
Since 2015, Cvetkovska has worked on the international investigative project Spooks and Spins: Information Wars in the Balkans, which aims to uncover centers of power and money flows in global information wars. In recent years, she has worked on a series of domestic and international investigations exposing corruption, illegal arms trade, espionage, and influence peddling. Her articles have been published in some of the world’s most influential media outlets such as The Guardian, BuzzFeed, Der Standard, and others. She was also part of the global investigation Panama Papers, which resulted in the closure of the company Mossack Fonseca in Panama. She has received more than ten domestic and international awards for her work, including the annual Reporters Without Borders prize for Europe — European Press Prize 2018 — Signal for Europe. This year, she was elected as a Board Member of the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), with a mandate to represent its 43 member organizations in 33 countries.

Branko Geroski

Branko Geroski is the Editor-in-Chief of the daily newspaper Sloboden Pechat and the news website Plusinfo.

For more than three decades, Geroski has been a professional journalist, editor, and founder of independent media. He is one of the main founders of the first independent daily newspaper Dnevnik (1996) and its first Editor-in-Chief. He is also the initiator of the daily newspapers Spic (2006) and Sloboden Pechat, as well as the news portal Plusinfo (2012).

He was born in 1962. He graduated in Interdisciplinary Journalism Studies at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Currently, he is a professional instructor at the One-Year School of Journalism organized by the Macedonian Institute for Media (2004) and the School of Journalism and Public Relations.

Geroski is also a professional trainer of young journalists, author of many published books such as “Be a Journalist” (2005) and “Learn to Write” (2010), and an active civil society advocate.

Mevajp Abdiu

Mevajp Abdiu

Graduated lawyer, Master’s in Media and Multimedia Management from the Institute for Communication Studies in Skopje. He has extensive experience in media and media organizations. He has served on the Board of APEEM, the Board of NDI, is currently Vice President of the association Medium Objektiv, and is serving a second term as a Board Member of the Council of Media Ethics.
Mevajp Abdiu is the manager and owner of the terrestrial regional television TV Koha since 1993. During his work, he has received significant recognitions for his contributions.
